A Fruitless Tree..

Have you ever met a person that constantly throws hella shade at any and everyone because they don't have any idea how to produce a healthy fruitful tree? I know many of you are wondering why am I talking about fruit and trees lol... Well, I've observed too many people that are complaining about their life or getting mad at others due to their well-balanced life.

What is fruitless Tree?

A fruitless tree is a tree that doesn’t produce any fruit. Usually, when you see a fruitless tree that doesn’t produce any healthy fruit it’s usually due to the lack of nutrients and vigor. In this case, YOU symbolize the tree and the FRUIT symbolizes the overall well being of your life.

The picture above shows a tree that appears to be fruitless, dead, and lifeless. Honestly, if you do a self-reflection of your life right now, can you honestly can say that you are producing healthy fruit? If that answer is no, you have some much-needed work to do! Meaning that a person may have the right foundation but may not know how to properly produce healthy fruit which is great results. Being fruitless in the spiritual term means to be unsuccessful or lack of healthy production. But in order for you to reach your highest potential, you have to understand that you may need to restructure how you approach things in your life.

The phrase to bear fruit means, the effort that you put into something or a particular way of doing something bears fruit, it is successful and produces good results. I learned that the fruit on someone's tree is an exact representation of their life or works. Lately, I've been reading this scripture Luke 6:43-45 (KJV): "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit."

The purpose of this post is to encourage you to make sure that you are producing healthy fruit and that you’re operating from a good place. Most times, people feel like they're coming from a good place but they tend to project their feelings and emotions on to others. When a person projects their feelings and emotions on to people it screams insecurity. I once heard "never address shade from trees with no fruit" ( Keoreyelle DuBose) Keoreyelle DuBose is an awesome brand strategist that helps assist young millennials to think critically and think highly of themselves. Honestly, her statement about addressing shade from people with no fruit made so much sense to me. It allowed me to see all of the people that constantly have so much say about other people's success are the ones not producing any fruit at all.

What causes a fruitless tree?

Having a fruitless tree can be caused by a lot of things! Often times people produce fruitless trees is due to deeds and things they’ve done to others. Or even making bad choices just to fit in with others. Also, in my research, I learned that when a tree lacks vigor the tree tends to decline tremendously. With that being said, you don't want to be that person lacking vigor which means strength to withstand what people are saying to you.

Why do you have a fruitless tree?

  • Unforgiveness

  • Lack of Obedience

  • Bad Choices

  • Jealousy

In my research about trees and the baring of fruit. I learned that my childhood tree symbolizes my family.

My mom(tree) and (the fruit) is my sister and me I. Below I will sharing a brief synopsis of what we’ve discovered about our childhood tree. In August 1998, our family house was built and our first tree planted in the front yard. When we planted this tree, I was eight and my sister was four years old. So over a 20year span, the tree started to grow with us as we grew up and matured with us.

A Fruitful Tree

On August 17, 2020, My mom decided to cut down our family tree that grew so large

in the front yard of our house.

As much as we loved this tree, it became a bit of a nuisance. The roots had grown so big and wide that it cracked part of my driveway and was heading into the roadway in front of my house. I was telling the arborist how skinny the tree was when our house was built and how surprised I was at its growth. After he cut the tree down to the stump, he began to tell me a few facts about trees.

Growth Rings

He said look at the number of growth rings on this tree, I’ve never seen this before. He first told me the age of the tree, which was accurate and he then told me, the number of growth rings was double for the age of this tree. Growth rings show the tree's vigor and the actual age of the tree.

The arborist then said that this tree grew faster than the average tree because it was positioned for growth, it was well-nourished, it was producing great amounts of pine straw and it had nothing to compete with!

Ask yourself:

*Are you positioned for growth?

*Are you well nourished?

*Are your trees producing fruit?

Amos 9:13 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.

I hope this post has inspire you to make sure youre a position for growth and that you are producing healthy fruit in the season. My goal is to speak from experience and encourage you to be successful in all things you do.
